Fishing & Boating in the Northwoods

Minnesota Destinations

It says so, right on the state license plate. But if you don’t believe that, take a look at a map. They don’t call it the “Land Of 10,000 Lakes” for nothing! Everywhere you look there seems to be another lake. Almost all of them are easily accessible and within a day’s drive, or less, of northern Indiana, Illinois, and Iowa.

Practically every lake has a resort, lodge or campgrounds. If you’ve never been to Minnesota, you owe it to yourself and your family to go there for a vacation. From Grand Forks to Grand Marais. From Rochester to Red Lake. From Winona to Warroad. Minnesota’s got something for everyone… in all four seasons. So make your plans and explore Minnesota!

Fishing since the age of eight.  Seriously writing since the age of 16. Chef and foodie from the age of 22 years… and counting. So much to learn and so little time. I have enjoyed every minute of it all.  Whether on the water (where I like it best), in the kitchen, or at the keyboard, churning out content, I feel like I have found my place.  I am sharing it with you in the hope that some of what I love to do will rub off on you. I hope to see you On the Lake!
