Creamy Garlic Dressing

It's R. Karl's favorite!

Ingredients:

bullet1 cup mayonnaise
bullet1/2 cup sour cream
bullet1 Tablespoon vinegar
bullet1 Tablespoon granulated sugar
bullet1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
bullet1-2 cloves crushed garlic
bulletBlue cheese crumbles (optional)
bullet1/2 teaspoon horseradish (optional)

Instructions:

Using a spoon, blend the mayonnaise and the sour cream together in a small bowl.  Add the Worcestershire sauce, vinegar and sugar.  Hold the garlic press over the bowl and crush the garlic cloves.  I find that using this method, much more of the garlic flavor is released into the dressing than simply by chopping the garlic.  Mix well and let the dressing rest for about 15-20 minutes.

For variations, try adding a couple of tablespoons of crumbled blue cheese.  I also like to experiment with different types of vinegar - such as apple cider or balsamic - for different and unique flavors.  A little horseradish will give your dressing some extra kick!

OXO Garlic Press

I prefer the OXO garlic press. It's easy to use and easy to clean!
