BIG GREEN LAKE UPDATE; With the snow cover the lake is now real stable and quiet. Most of the pressure cracks have stop working. But there still may be some very thin ice around the heaves. So be very carefull and check the ice if going close to them.
****FISHING REPORT; It seems for some reason maybe all the activity on the weekends are alot slower then during the week. Most Sat. have been slow.
Follow up:
LAKE TROUT; Are still on a good bite can be slow at times. They should bite sometime during the day if you wait them out. Then there are times when they will bite all day long. Most trout have been coming from the jig bite fished close to bottom. Best depths have been 50 to 120 feet of water.
NORTHERN; Are also on and off. With some days better then others. Just have to get that good day. Tipups fished with med. minnows best in 8 to 25 feet of water.
WHITEBASS; Are slow with the best bite coming late in the day. Jigs fished in the schools best. Fish 30 to 45 feet of water.
CISCO; Action is coming off Sandstone Pt. also jis fished in schools with lite line best. Early am best.
WALLEYE; Not many reports on Walleye at this time. Maybe need a little warmer weather.
PANFISH; Bluegills & Perch; Also have been slow at this time.
