"Trails in the Eagle River area are in EXCELLENT to GOOD condition".
Eagle River, Wisconsin -- "Monday morning (February 15, 2010) and it is SNOWING in Eagle River!
Trails in the Eagle River area are in EXCELLENT to GOOD condition."
"Four new inches of SNOW on the ground with more SNOW falling right now at 8:30 am. Two to four more inches of SNOW expected today!"
"All trails were groomed last night.
Follow up:
It was neat to see freshly-groomed trails with new snow on top. Come on up for a mid-week ride. The trails are truly terrific!"
"I was out riding this weekend and the only trail that I would rate as FAIR is trail 10/13 -- The section where the two trails run together. It is a sort of short cut and crosses the Wisconsin River by Snowmobile Bridge. There has been logging and log hauling in that area, so it has been plowed, and it's pretty slippery and has less snow than other areas.
Rode both Eagle Lake Trail & Catfish Lake Loop and they are pretty smooth and safe by the orange barrels.
"THINK MORE SNOW & COLD, and See ya on the trails!"
