For all the winter sports enthusiasts out there, the Eagle River Chamber says: "the 500 pristine miles of groomed and perfectly-maintained snowmobile trails in the Eagle River, Wisconsin area (Eagle River is the Snowmobile Capital of the World®) are now scheduled to open on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at 8:00 am."
